Survey Missions

Initial activity of the Project, the assessment phase consisted of a series of visits to each of the 9 Beneficiary countries. The purpose of these visits is to get a comprehensive picture of the present situation and identify what are the needs in terms of training and support measures. Conducting these visits implies:

- Preparing the missions: the constitution of an adequate team of experts, preparation of the programme with definition of a guideline questionnaire

- Contacting each Beneficiary authority and agreeing on the dates and agenda. Concluding logistics arrangements (visas, air tickets, hotels ...)

- Conducting the visits

- Report writing. The country reports are transmitted to their respective countries for validation before final issue on a per country basis.

Resulting from the assessments, a full Training Plan and Work Programme has been prepared, taking into account the identified current situations and recommended measures.
