The Technical ETS Environment Workshop was organised in Baku on 13^th - 14^th of June.

This workshop aimed at providing guidance on ETS verification and reporting cycle which is started in 2010. The EC proposal will require aircraft operators to monitor and report verified data on TKM and CO2 emissions arising from aviation activities covered by the scheme. These include both intra-EU flights and all flights entering and departing from EU airports. 01 Jan 2010 is the start date of first monitoring period for annual emissions and benchmark data. At 31 Mar 2011, all operators need to provide their 2010 Annual Emissions data and 2010 Benchmark data. 

Each of the Beneficiaries sent two participants representing their country to assist at the workshop.
